Written by: Jill Martinez

Landscape Large

Byron Pogue and Jason Osterberger Designs

A family retreat situated on six acres of heavily wooded, lake front property was refigured into a series of finely executed outdoor garden rooms designed to highlight the residents extensive collection of contemporary sculpture. The focal point for the auto court is a work by artist Glenna Goodacre which was shipped from Japan especially for this project.

Landscape Small

Kevin Kimball

The theme of this private courtyard is tropical zen, and the design was intended to compliment the contemporary feel of the residence. In addition to the landscaping, key elements of the design include the water feature, fire pit, stucco bench and scored patio surface. ✦
